1: movement speed

The movement speed is very low (≤ 0.03 / s), so the stability of equipment operation and whether there is creeping phenomenon should be considered. When the moving speed is very high (≥ 0.8m / s), the ink of the lubricator may be damaged, and the seal will rub and heat due to the poor lubricator effect, which will greatly reduce the service life. It is suggested that the rubber plastic seal should work in the range of 0.3m/s ~ 1.2m/s.

2: temperature

Low temperature will reduce the elasticity of rubber plastic composite seal, resulting in leakage, and even the whole oil seal becomes hard and brittle. High temperature will make the volume of oil seal expand and become soft, resulting in the rapid increase of oil seal friction resistance and the decrease of pressure resistance. It is suggested that the continuous working temperature range of rubber plastic composite seal be - 10 ~ + 80 ℃.

3: working pressure

The oil seal has starting pressure requirements. Oil seal with low friction performance and small aerodynamic resistance shall be selected for low-pressure operation. Under 2.5MPa, the rubber plastic compound seal is not suitable. When the pressure is high, the pressure of the seal should be considered, and the groove processing of the anti extrusion retaining ring is also required.

4: working medium:

In addition to selecting the working medium in strict accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer, it is essential to keep the working medium clean. The aging or pollution of oil will not only cause the failure of components in the system, accelerate the aging and wear of oil seal, but also the dirt may scratch or embed in the seal, making the seal invalid. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly check the quality and cleanliness of the oil seal, and replace the oil filter or fluid according to the maintenance specifications of the equipment. In the oil cylinder, the high pressure of residual air diameter will produce high temperature, which will burn the oil seal, even carbonize it. In order to avoid this situation, exhaust treatment should be carried out at the initial operation of the hydraulic system. The hydraulic cylinder shall also operate at low pressure and slow speed for several minutes to ensure that the residual air in the oil has been drained before normal operation.
